Hidden Treasures publishers have in recent years stepped into a new era of the publishers rich history. Hidden Treasures Publishers Foundations history goes all the way back to 1912, when the brothers Johan Oscar and Aksel Smith started publishing the magazine Hidden Treasures in Norway. The publication was the result of a need these two brothers had been discussing for several years, the need for a magazine about sanctification.
In the first edition from January 1912 we read:
“Driven by inner need and conviction we hereby publish the first edition of “Hidden Treasures”. Sanctified to the Lord we pray, that the magazine will be a servant for the believers to throw light over the roads, that lead to a life in deeper fellowship with our Lord Jesus Christ.
The goal of the magazine is to bring forth such truth that leads to faith and godliness. Tit. 1,1.”
The purpose and vision is the same today as when the Smith brothers started in 1912, but now this is continued on a new digital platform.
We hope you will appreciate our content, and we look forward to publish more interesting, edifying and thought provoking Christian content in the near future!
